![]() ![]() For us, standouts of the set were “Hot Fuzz” and “Old Mary”. As for Friday, the crowd was a tad more excitable, with crowdsurfing on the increase. The setlist for Thursday is hazy, but highlights were a magnificent extended version of “Sleeper”, a new song (which you can find below), and “You’re the Doctor”, which the band saved for the encore. We were able to catch the shows on Thursday (May 18) and Friday (May 19). The tour is in follow-up to the release of Ty’s second self-titled album, which is out now on Drag City. ![]() Accompanied by the Freedom Band (Mikal Cronin (bass), Emmett Kelly (guitar), Charles Moothart (drums) and Ben Boye (electric piano)), the born-and-bred California garage rocker spent three evenings ripping through a range of old songs, news songs, and covers. Ty Segall finished a face-melting three-night stand at Warsaw in Brooklyn on Friday (May 19). ![]()
